In 1997, Q-Shipping was established by a small group of captain owners. They were managing their own short-sea bulk carriers.
3 years later the fleet increased, including vessels from external parties.
In 2004 the captain-owners decided to sell their vessels, which resulted in a change of the management philosophy of Q-Shipping.
As from that moment, Q-Shipping’s core-business was offering third party management services to external customers.
In 2015, the company’s name was changed to ‘Q Ship Management’.
Today Q Ship Management employs over 25 people in the Netherlands, Turkey and Ukraine.
